You watch a movie, and your life changes! #Sinemasal is a social venture that enables children in rural areas to experience magic of cinema. Since its inception in 2013 to date, Sinemasal has enabled 3,143,700 children and their families in 41 provinces to experience culture and the arts for the first time in their lives. The Open Air Cinema Festival that Sinemasal has been organizing since 2013 with the participation of young volunteers from 29 countries was named the Most Comprehensive Youth Project by the EU, and won the title of the Most Successful Newcomer Festival Concept by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Selected as one of the Middle East’s most inspirational social initiatives by Harvard University and the MIT Media Lab, Sinemasal was also named a Generational Ambassador in Boston. Sinemasal aims to completely eliminate the problem of accessing films as a discipline of culture and the arts by implementing sustainable methods by 2023.
