Overview

SimPit Technologies is company based in New Zealand and we are specializing in extremely realistic and versatile simulators. Our goal is to redefine simulation and virtual reality - make it less virtual and make it more real. Our systems are based on the latest research in aviation psychology and utilize ulltra vide fied of view, motion-visual cueing and dynamic virtual cockpits to achieve that goal. SimPit started as a development project in 2009 and SimPit Technologies was founded in 2011. In 2010 the first prototype was finished and in mid-2011 was completed the world’s first commercially used unit of this concept which is very successfully operating in Nelson since it has been built. First prototype of home version was finished in feb 2012 and production started in March 2012 as a Icarus, Trident and Centurion.
