Silicon Beach is Australia’s largest network of startup communities. With meetup.com communities in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Darwin, Adelaide, Launceston, Geelong, Ballarat & many more in the making, we are 23,000+ Silicon Beachers strong and counting (as of January 2020). Our mission is to empower early-stage startup founders and established businesses through education, industry access, global connections, investment and support from a diverse community. We are now in Asia with Silicon Beach meetups in Manila & Jakarta. Started in Sydney as Silicon Beach Drinks in 2010, the idea spread to other capital cities quickly. Melbourne Silicon Beach (MSB) is now the largest tech/startup in the group with 13,000+ as of January 2020. We are informal groups for anyone interested in founding or working in startups, dev/design in web/mobile tech, IoT, freelancing, investing or working with people in that space. We are a diverse bunch covering all ages, backgrounds and first point of call for newcomers to the startup community in your city.
