Throughout the pandemic, our country witnessed a sharp increase in online activity relating to scammers targeting vulnerable people with Aussies reporting to Scamwatch a record of $211 million in losses to scams alone in 2021, an increase of 89% compared to the previous year (2020). We can help reduce this. Our goal is to raise awareness across our communities by helping people learn to recognise the signs of online scammers with an easy to understand approach to learning.
