Smart Ecosystem for Women - SEW is a consulting firm specialised in supporting women entrepreneurs in Africa. Its creation was legitimised by the strong need of women, in view of the multiple socio-cultural, professional and financial constraints, to be supported and encouraged in the deployment and realisation of their projects. SEW's approach has found its coherence in the construction and management of intelligent and strong communities, able to provide the necessary support to their various members. For more than 5 years, we have been building enabling environments for the emergence of women entrepreneurs in collaboration with partner organisations. The acronym SEW, translated into English by the verb "to sew" and into Wolof1 by the one "who enjoys an important reputation", resolutely illustrates our identity. Through sewing, we create links between different pieces that eventually form a structured and coherent whole. Through fame, we enable all these women to be connected to business opportunities that are usually difficult to access.
