Overview
The Severna Park Community Center (SPCC) is a non-membership, nonprofit (501c3) public recreation facility / organization located in the heart of Anne Arundel County. We are a swimming pool, therapy pool, fitness center, dance center, gymnasium, and community gathering place open to all – drop in, take a class, plan a family event, or sign up for pickleball and basketball! Our mission is "to serve as the community gathering place that enhances individual and family well-being, guided by Christian values and open to all". Key priorities for SPCC include connecting the community inside and outside of the center; enhancing and delivering quality programming for individuals and families; and developing holistic health and wellness programs to promote and support well-being. Just the facts: 36,000 square feet of meeting and recreation space for public use, including Boone Station Hall, a charming 1920’s style space with tons of light and space – and an outdoor bricked plaza & gazebo/porch Two pools – one 25-yard competitive and one heated therapy pool - one of the only public therapy pools in the area Three dance studios, home of the Dance Center of Severna Park 6,500 square-foot gymnasium with pickleball and basketball set-ups for use by individuals or organizations Two large meeting rooms and two activity/meeting rooms - perfect for parties, baby showers, reunions, workshops, seminars and more All spaces are handicapped accessible!
