Named after a former Ottoman Grand Vizier and the grandson of Muhammed Ali Pasha of Egypt, Sait Halim Pasha Mansion was built in 1863 in Istanbul. Still impressive among the best kept of the empire-style mansions, the building, also known as the “Mansion of the Lions” stands as a memorial to late Ottoman taste. With its 11 indoor and 2 outdoor function areas, the mansion has a capacity of 1.600 and 800 guests for cocktail and banquet respectively, and the two nostalgically decorated honeymoon suites can accommodate two couples a night.
