Red Stag is a privately owned group of vertically integrated companies from forestry, to saw milling, off site manufacturing and development. Red Stag Timber is the largest structural saw mill in the Southern Hemisphere, supply the premiere feedstock to Red Stag Wood Solutions for advanced off site manufacturing. Red Stag Wood Solutions (RSWS), formed in 2013 focuses on add value timber components for the construction sector, from frames and trusses, panelisation and cassettes through to Engineered Wood Products (EWP). RSWS is in the final stages of commissioning a brand new scale Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and EWP plant in Rotorua (2021). CLT forms the first phase of EWP, with Glue Laminated Timber (GLT) planned for 2021/2022 in combination with more advantaged and automated light timber panelisation.
