Welcome to the official page of the Progress Club of Greater Moncton, a chapter of the Canadian Progress Club. We meet every second week to find ways to “help kids be kids”, and we have a lot of fun doing it. Learn more about the Progress Club of Greater Moncton by browsing our website, or contact us about coming out to a meeting and seeing what we are all about. Our local service club comprised of a group of men with different backgrounds, skills and professions, but who are all motivated by the same mission: "through the eyes of a child we serve to build a stronger community". We raise funds through a variety of community events to help the children of Greater Moncton, and we do it because making children smile makes us smile. In our support for children and families we take a unique approach from other important organizations in the community. For example, rather than buy medical equipment for our hospitals, we focus on the small things that often get overlooked, like toys, games and family room furnishings that make a difficult time more bearable for the sick children and their families. We keep many Christmas trees for needy families from being bare on Christmas morning by sending out food, stockings and presents. We buy renovation materials and provide the labour to help some of our local charities keep from falling apart.
