For over a decade Propelia has been building the tools and frameworks that take the time to properly navigate early stage founders journeys. After working and engaging with 100’s of such founders across all tech and market sectors, we spotted the patterns, correlations and insights that meant our bespoke tools could start to consistently identify and elevate exceptional and extraordinary founders. Founders that all demonstrated what the behaviours and properties of what we go on to recognise and promote as Founder Market Fit. We then realised from talking to contemporaries that were addressing different pieces of the founder investor puzzle. Additionally that these lived alongside forward thinking investors, who were all also trying to re-imagine and re-calibrate the early stage engagement dynamics and that cumulatively they might all now form an exciting and emerging new venture vertical…Put simply and logically PropTech > HealthTech > EdTech > FinTech…FounderTech. To explore and articulate this vertical further we’ve launched the FounderTech Decoded podcast and the accompanying FounderTech Bulletin where we are regularly talking to the leading platforms, investors and founders who we believe are now informing this valuable new sector. We also developed and are launching Pilot Round. We believe Pilot Round is the missing piece of the FounderTech ecosystem, that for the first time enables exceptional investors and aligned investors to identify, connect and evaluate each other via the lens of Founder Market Fit.
