PAPAA is an independently funded charity no: 1118192, which supports and advises people affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The charity was formed by the Psoriatic Arthropathy Alliance and the Psoriasis Support Trust to become the principal information resource for people with or affected by psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis. The service is free and access to all material is available in both print form and via an in-depth comprehensive website www.papaa.org . Healthcare professionals can order copies in bulk for distribution to patients. A magazine is available twice a year on subscription or to purchase individually. The service PAPAA provides is confidential and requires no commitment by users to provide their name or contact details, except when information is requested by post or for inclusion into the PAPAA Register, which is free and allows access and opt-in to relevant mailings. PAPAA also provides professional training with a CPD accredited online course called ‘Psoriasis in Practice'. www.psoriasisinpractice.org PAPAA also supports and funds research via a small grants scheme PAPAA is recognised as a non-commercial partner organisation with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).
