Overview
Panagora Group is a woman-owned small business (WOSB) dedicated to high-impact international development. Our goal is to provide innovative solutions that build national capacity and promote sustainability through robust local participation and capacity building, utilizing highly integrated and private sector solutions. Throughout our work, we embrace a virtuous circle of knowledge stewardship, collaborative learning, and application of evidence to heighten and accelerate positive health and development outcomes. Panagora is a social enterprise with an established USAID NICRA. EXPERTISE Panagora offers a range of international development and global health services and experts. We provide short- and long-term technical assistance at the country level or in Washington, D.C. Drawing on decades of experience across all developing regions, our team offers a range of foundational international health and development services. SERVICES As a small business, we are able to implement novel and innovative approaches using highly participatory approaches to mobilize community, civil society, and government energy in defining and owning solutions, and to promote inclusive development that benefits all groups. Ultimately, we work to promote country ownership and sustained performance so that our efforts help achieve our mission of making the world a better place for good. ABOUT THE FOUNDER Betsy Bassan, Panagora’s President and CEO, has held a variety of executive and leadership positions, e.g., at Chemonics International, Save the Children, Society for International Development, and the Small Business Association of International Companies. She brings a proven track record of transformational leadership, spurring teams to achieve ambitious strategies in highly pragmatic ways, from policy advocacy in Washington, D.C., to community-level programming in developing countries.
