The Organic and Fairtrade Cotton Secretariat is a multi-stakeholder organisation committed to creating a policy-enabling environment for the organic cotton sector. We are dedicated towards facilitating an inclusive sector that values people within farm ecosystems, the supply chain economy and the environment. Our founding partners are Laudes Foundation, World Wildlife Fund (India), Solidaridad Asia Network, Action for Social Advancement (ASA), and we are supported by many other leading organisations that are committed to creating a conducive environment for the organic cotton agriculture in India. We wish to collate these challenges within the sector, collectively deliberate on them, further advance informed policy asks to governments and institutions, in order to create a policy-enabling environment for our farmers. For this, OFCS will continue to increase the impact of its work via collaborating and building partnerships with public and private institutions.
