A startup funded by EiM. We live in a nation where thunderstorms and blistering heat are part of everyday life. Yet, most of us don’t carry umbrellas or wear a hat to protect from harmful UV rays and the occasionally drenched in the rain. Interestingly, we bring bags to school or work every day and routinely. Therefore, we decided to combine a ubiquitous problem with an everyday item to create an optimal solution. Omnipack is a revolutionary water-resistant backpack with an umbrella-like hood on the back. Therefore, there is no hassle of bringing and holding your umbrella. Omnipack is also a cheaper alternative by combining 3 items in one; a hat, umbrella and bag. We are also aware of global environmental issues that threaten sustainability, hence, Omnipack will be 95% made with recycled plastic to reduce our footprint in the world.
