Overview

The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Tallinn was opened in 1991, when Estonia regained their independence. The embassy's work encompasses foreign policy, societal and economic issues, cultural collaboration, business promotion, press and information activities, as well as assistance to Norwegian citizens. The embassy has eight permanent employees, two of whom are posted from Norway and six are locally employed. In addition, the defense attaché stationed in Helsinki is also accredited to Estonia. Each semester the team is joined by one or two student trainees.
