Overview
The Michigan Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (MI-LSAMP) was launched in November 2005 with a grant from the National Science Foundation. MI-LSAMP is a partnership of four 4-year institutions within the State of Michigan; University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Wayne State University and Western Michigan; and two community colleges — Washtenaw Community College and Mott Community College– who work collaboratively to significantly increase the number of underrepresented minority students earning baccalaureate degrees in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and prepare them for entry into graduate programs. Within this page, we will share updates about school, research, co-ops, internships, and job opportunities for LSAMP scholars at our Michigan LSAMP campuses and beyond. The Michigan LSAMP team will also share updates on activities happening on each of our Michigan LSAMP campuses.
