Metamagics core competence is about discovery and deriving the meaning of data from unstructured and ad-hoc data. Using this we have created a patent-pending entity and entity relationship discovery platform GridSense. The GridSense engine is able to generate a semantic map from a given set of data, automatically apply the semantic maps to incoming data and infer new insights by leveraging the ontological connections. Our interest in sematics and SNOMED, healthcare and patient data analytics taken us to a very specialized domain of organ transplantation. Leveraging GridSense we are able to dynamically incorporate disease-specific and organ-specific knowledge base to deliver complex and structured care protocols that are a critical component in transplant care. We have created a very revolutionary software platform aimed at reducing errors in long term patient care and improving patient outcomes.
