LUCKY Lunches is a youth-founded and led charity organization that provides nutritional meal packages and positivity to encourage children battling cancer to maintain healthy eating habits. The name LUCKY was derived from our overarching purpose: LU(nches), C(ancer), K(ids), Y(ummy). With funds from donations, we create care packages for children with cancer at our partnering cancer facilities. Our care packages contain a lunch meal/snack, lunch box, toy, and a homemade card. We strive to inform patients about the importance of nutrition and make mealtime a positive, fun experience when kids with cancer need it most.
