Overview

Founded in 2009, Jining Confucius International School, known as JCIS, is a private K-12 school, located in the Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone of Jining. There are 160 classes with 5000 students currently on campus which covers an area of nearly 150,000 square meters. The faculty consists of over 50 international teachers as well as 600 Chinese teachers, most of whom are young specialists and experts in their field. The school management is fully directed by Lunhua Education, whose education philosophy is “Broad Knowledge for Global Citizens, Enlightened Wisdom for Fulfilled Lives”. In its 10-year-long development, JCIS has built two tracks for its students: one consists of the traditional elite course aiming at the National College Entrance Exams, while the other is the international course programs, such as IGCSE, A-Level and AP. Under the 6C Philosophy of Confident, Caring, Committed, Creative, Cooperative and Communicative put forward by Principal Cao Lunhua, JCIS has created unique curriculum systems for the Elite Class, International Class, and the Girls’ Class, as well as various after-class activities and competitions.
