With 25 years strategic commercial and marketing experience in train operating companies and franchise bidding in the UK and internationally Jeremy Whitaker (FCIM, DipM, BSc) formed Jeremy Whitaker Consultancy Ltd in 2018 to provide strategic and interim commercial and marketing services to the passenger rail sector. As an experienced commercial bid lead and deputy bid director as well as Train Operating Company commercial director, I can provide commercial and marketing support and expertise to existing operating companies or for bids for new operations. I also provide rail industry insight and marketing development support and expertise to companies wishing to expand or develop their services into the rail market. I have an extensive network of successful relationships with key industry suppliers in customer experience, marketing, retailing and ticketing, property and transport integration that ranges from SMEs to large corporates.
