Overview

Hot FM made its debut on 6th February 2006, targeting youth below 35 years old. Combining the hottest songs with latest information and fresh content to reach its target, Hot FM continues to innovate and integrate with various platforms to remain relevant to its listeners. Currently standing at 3.4 million listenership and is the no. 1 station for the average listenership under 25 demographic, Hot FM has expanded its operations to Kelantan and Terengganu. Both stations feature localised content to suit the background and culture in East Coast since January 2012. Hot FM won several awards and recognition throughout the years. The station took home The Brand Laureatte for Best Brand in Media Category in 2009 and Best Radio Entertainment for UDC Awards in 2010. The station also dominated the Best Male and Female Radio Presenter Award in Anugerah Bintang Popular for 6 consecutive years and bagged the Best Radio Show Award for 2 consecutive years in Shout! Awards. Integration has been one of station’s core strategies to move forward, hence Hot FM has collaborated with TV9 to produce a reality show called Versus. The latest addition includes the launch of Hot TV, a variety show on TV9 featuring Hot FM announcers. Hot FM is also active on all social media platforms ie Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to be close in its listener’s hearts and will continue to evolve by converging with social and digital platforms, hence creating a stronger bond of interaction between listeners and clients.
