HospiceCare is an independent palliative care charity delivering person-centered Hospice at Home services across North Northumberland, offering practical and emotional care and support to adults aged 18 years and over, who are living with a terminal illness, requiring palliative input. The care is provided within a person’s home by our specially trained Nursing team and Hospice Support Workers, 365 days a year, day or night, planned or in a crisis situation, with an emphasis on promoting quality of life. You can access our Hospice at Home service through any healthcare professional e.g. GP, District Nurse, Macmillan Nurse, or Community Matron – just ask them to refer you. We also provide Bereavement Support and Dementia Support Services All our care is delivered free at the point of need.
