Hi Everyone, I am Stacy Edghill and I founded Hibiscus Media and Events in January 2019. The idea came to me late in 2018, well in truth it was my boss in my then job who gave me the push, said it was time for me to go out on my own... Over the years I have built up a steady career and following on social media, LinkedIn in particular in sales, social media and events - business breakfasts, lunch n' learns, workshops, exhibitions, conferences, dinners, balls... - you name it, if there has been an opportunity to network in any of those environments then I've been there. Throughout it all I have also become an avid user of LinkedIn and used the platform to publicise the events, network with people and increase my personal brand and increase business for whomever I was working for. Such is my passion for using LinkedIn effectively that in 2018 I created a training course for it - LinkedIn Sales Training for Business Professionals. This, coupled with my love for events is what led me to creating a business around both markets. Now, media and events might SEEM like two completely different markets, however, I do have one underlying motto which connects them. Whether it's getting yourself seen online or offline (social media and events) I see it all as networking and my motto for the business is about helping people/businesses BE SEEN, BE NOTCED and BE CHOSEN. Both media and events fits - and from here on in Hibiscus Media and Events will always ask this question first before agreeing to do any business: "Will this help them be seen, be noticed AND be chosen?" - if the answer is YES then we will work together.
