Description About Us: The Hellenic Association of Treasurers (HAT) is a non-profit organization representing an effort to unite all Treasury professionals interested in the developments of the Greek Financial Market. It was founded in December 2020. Mission: The Association aims to promote the art of Treasury amongst members and externally, with regards to the Greek, European, and Global socio-economic dynamics and developments. Objectives: -Encourage the development of the art of Treasury -Organize conferences and workshops -Undertake joint research -Liaise with international Treasury associations, bodies which deal with the development and provision of Treasury programs in Greece and globally, and other agencies that support the development of the art of Treasury -Advise governmental bodies on Treasury-related and Regulatory matters -Collaborate with academia and Greek universities -Other means, which may be conducive to the purpose of the association What do we provide? -Broad professional development environment -Knowledge sharing and discussion forum -Networking opportunities -Independent advisory function -Career advisory Members are involved in activities, including but not limited to, Corporate Finance, Risk Management, Cash Management, Treasury Control, Treasury Operations, Front Office Activities, and Asset & Liability Management, etc. Membership The Hellenic Association of Treasurers is the official professional association for Greek Treasury professionals in Greece and abroad and has members employed by: -international companies -multinational companies -large and mid-size companies -financial institutions -governmental bodies and -non-profit organizations Students currently enrolled in Treasury related studies (Economics, Finance, Econometrics, etc) interested in pursuing a career in the Treasury function.
