Harrogate Homeless Project

Overview

We’re a team of committed individuals, who want to make sure that homeless people have the strategies, support and services that are needed to begin the difficult journey back to truly independent living. We run a homeless hostel on Bower Street, which houses 16 people and also provides an emergency refuge for rough sleepers in accordance with the No Second Night Out scheme. We also run a day service called Springboard in Harrogate town centre, providing food, shower facilities, activities and one-on-one meetings with support workers that are designed to help homeless or formerly homeless people get the help and advice that they need. Our team are an incredibly friendly bunch, and possess the knowledge and expertise needed to offer multifaceted support to homeless people from all walks of life – irrespective of background, history or special needs. Our focus will always be on helping people to achieve access to sustainable independence.
