Overview
Global Offshore is part of the Global Marine Group, delivering the company’s cable installation, repair and trenching services to the offshore renewables, utilities and oil & gas markets. From a strategically located base in Aberdeen, Global Offshore has developed a reputation as a trusted partner with many clients returning following successfully executed projects. These long-standing relationships have been forged through flexibility and an understanding of the client’s needs. To date, the Global Offshore team has been involved in the installation of more than 470 power cables. The Q1400 trenching system, which has the capability to perform jet trenching in soils of up to 100 KPA and mechanical chain cutting of soils of up to 250 KPA is extremely adaptable and can transfer from jetting to cutting modes whilst at sea without craneage, avoiding the need to return to port for system changes. The business has conducted multiple operations in oil & gas for oil companies such as Shell and BP. With a team of highly experienced, respected project engineers and project managers, Global Offshore delivers diverse pipeline, cable and umbilical projects in the harshest of seas and most challenging of seabed conditions, platform-to-platform connectivity and complete platform to subsea services.
