Hi I'm Holly, Founder of Get Woke Not Broke; a blog aimed at helping young people get their financial s*!t together! I come from a rather unconventional background when it comes to finance: my parents are magicians and I'm the first in my family to attend university. This led me to start my blog in September 2019, when it dawned on me that if I hadn't stumbled across a job in finance, I wouldn't have a clue how to manage my money (without trailing through boring af government websites at least) - and so my friends and family are probably in the same boat. So my aim was to take the information I've learnt and make it as easily accessible as possible - with a few puns thrown in for good measure.
