Welcome to Franklin Toastmasters, where you will find a warm welcome and a very supportive group who will assist you to develop your full potential by learning to speak confidently in any situation. Experienced Toastmasters know that the big secret to better public speaking is regular practice. A Toastmasters Club as is the perfect environment to do this, as the feedback you get from other members is invaluable for improving for your next speech or presentation. Since August 2002 the club has been helping Franklin residents to develop their public speaking and leadership skills over the last 299 meetings. Franklin Toastmasters prides itself on its fun, friendly and no pressure atmosphere that allows people to develop into confident and polished public speakers. Over the years the Club has had hundreds of people join and achieve everything from getting over the fear factor of presenting a wedding speech, to learning how to do a technical business presentation without losing their audience. Our members come from all walks of life and all have different aims. Many members are business professionals and have joined to give their career an edge. This is normally initially to develop their public speaking, but many subsequently find that Toastmasters also develops them into better overall leaders as well. Other members join to enhance their interpersonal skills, some simply because they love language and literature, while others enjoy the social environment. Guests are always welcome. Your fees simply cover the costs to run the club - it is excellent value.
