Overview
For three generations, Eide has produced high-quality food in Western Norwegian fjords. We are confident that happy fish will also taste good. Nature, hard-working people and technological innovation have brought us to where we are today, and this is also what will carry us on into the future. Eide Fjordbruk is a family run seafood company operating in the fjords of Hardangerfjord, Fensfjord, Osterfjord and Nordfjord, in western Norway. Annually, we provide an international market with approximately 16,000 tonnes of salmon and rainbow trout and have an annual turnover of approximately 800 million NOK. We are also certified according to Global Gap’s standards for food safety. Eide Fjordbruk has 45 years’ worth of experience in the fish farming industry and has played an instrumental part in developing as well as providing innovation within the industry. This entrepreneurial spirit, that the company was founded on, is still an integral part of its driving force today. Food tradition: Eide has a long tradition within food production stretching back to the 1600s and encapsulates the journey from the earth, via water to the sea.
