The Easy Horse Care Rescue Centre is a non-profit foundation established in 2008 by British expats Sue and Rod Weeding. Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate abused, neglected and abandoned horses, ponies and donkeys across the Alicante region of Spain, while campaigning for the better treatment of animals across the country. We are a no-kill foundation and provide every rescued animal with a safe and loving sanctuary – either at our rescue centre or via re-homing – for the rest of their lives. Our foundation is staffed almost entirely by volunteers and we rely solely on donations to continue our animal welfare work. We are the only officially registered horse rescue centre foundation in Spain (Registered Foundation Number G54674098, Inscription Number 030006 in the Registration of Foundations with the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food). All donations to support our work are tax deductible.
