e-WorkSAFE is a mobile app and cloud platform that keeps front-line electrical workers safe and helps organizations mitigate risk and improve compliance for their staff and contractors. The e-WorkSAFE system is designed in partnership with the Electrical Safety Authority in Ontario and in conjunction with the CSA for Workplace Electrical Safety Standard Z462. The value of the e-WorkSAFE system can be summarized as follows: Work SAFE • For front-line workers and contractors, the e-WorkSAFE mobile app puts Workplace Electrical Safety Standard CSA Z462 into action on every task, significantly reducing risk of injury or incident. • The e-WorkSAFE cloud portal streamlines safety administration and provides visibility ensuring compliance to safe work practices and real-time audit trails of the completed job safety assessments. Work SMART • For management, the mobile app allows workers and contractors to capture and share critical knowledge about the electrical assets. • The cloud portal provides a single digital repository for equipment data, arc-flash information, single-line diagrams and other artifacts. • An automated link to the ESA’s CSS Online Logbook to eliminate manual entries.
