Overview

DISSCO provides an interface between science, society, the environment and the arts. DISSCO delivers science communication strategies for public engagement activities, and embrace partners from various fields. From the idea to implementation, we design everything through the lens of making science funky and engaging everyone with science. We strive for collaboration and co-creation between researchers and different publics. Our aim is to democratize science by making it more participatory and accessible to all, and to empower scientists and the public through research, education and communication, in order to provide collective solutions for important societal and environmental issues. We use storytelling formats, citizen science and playful activities to increase public engagement to science. In short: we strive to make science funky, and engage everyone with science!
