Overview

We are a 501C3 Non-Profit organization formed to facilitate the Discipleship efforts connected to Prison Ministries and the rehabilitation for reentry into the free society as successful and productive men and women. Our primary concern is the eternal state of these individuals. As such, we offer them a foundation which has been proven for over 2,000 years, failing no-one who is truly seeking the only method of true freedom, and is willing to walk in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior! We have found that through these programs, minds are changed, and then hearts are changed. When this happens, lives and eternities are changed. The recidivism rate in Louisiana is 84%, those completing and applying our strategy have been shown to drop that number to 14%. It is our goal to bring about the duplication of the process and curriculums we use into every local prison system in the state of Louisiana, and beyond. It is our hope that we can head the repeat offender "off at the pass" before they become truly capital offenders convicted to State or Federal Facilities. Incarceration and recidivism are the result of one, and only one cause, "their way is not working". If we can help them to change their thinking through Christ, their ways will be changed, resulting in "True Freedom". We are all the direct result of our thinking, what I think, I do. My thoughts will become my actions. This is accomplished by following Christ's final "Commandment", "Go and make Disciples". That is our mission as Discipling Inmate Prodigals, Inc.
