Overview

In 1946, Sri Misrimal Khimani migrated from Rajasthan to Mysore and established a manufacturing unit for handloom textiles. They started with cotton poplin production and also sourced men's suiting fabrics from Bombay, supplying to Delhi and Calcutta. Over time, the business grew. Moolchandhji, another family member, began supplying semi-stitched Salwar fabrics from Aravind Mills in Ahmedabad to Karnataka and the Coorg-Kerala border. Following suggestions from buyers, they focused on producing women's wear, leveraging the expertise of tailors in silhouettes, design, and fit. They opened a boutique on D Devraj Urs road and later acquired two more stores. In 2013, they opened a second outlet on the same lane, and on December 14, 2018, they launched Dazzles Bridal Studio, specializing in bridal and bridesmaid attire. As they celebrate their 24th anniversary, they plan to expand their business by opening a store in Bangalore, aiming to bring joy to their customers.
