Overview

Coaching through COVID (CTC) has 250+ coaches offering free coaching to key workers impacted by the COVID crisis, including in the NHS & care homes. Benefits for those coached include: -offloading & making sense of what’s going on; -taking advantage of a skilled listening ear; -improving ability to manage stress & build resilience; -being with & working with intense emotions arising for so many of us including fear, guilt, shame, anger; -navigating turbulence & change; -fostering healthier relationships, building trust & collaboration, & reducing conflict; -leading with compassion & agility; -making tough decisions in these challenging times; -prioritising what to attend to. Feedback from coachee participants in recent CTC pilot at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust includes: '..highly recommend this programme...all the misconceptions that I had about coaching have disappeared. I’ve found (it) really helpful so far and it has definitely helped me find order in the chaos'. 'Pure life changer & I’m so pleased I signed up' 'Really important during this crisis.' 'I truly think it is the incredible and proactive support we’ve been receiving that is keeping us going through this crisis.' Our coaches are highly experienced, appropriately qualified, in supervision, fully insured, compassionate, psychologically-informed (including around working with trauma & distress, and other mental health issues); flexible & able to draw on a range of approaches including 'being' approaches such as Gestalt, mindfulness & somatics. CTC is supported by the Association for Professional Executive Coaching and Supervision, Coaching at Work, the Academy of Executive Coaching, the UK International Coach Federation, Ashridge Business School, Henley Business School, The Conscious Leader, Visible Dynamics, Lindsay Wittenberg Ltd, Lee Hecht Harrison, the Centre for Coaching, & Liz Hall Coaching.
