Honey is literally the product of its surroundings. The nectar that is collected by bees and which eventually becomes honey varies significantly from one region to another. Factors such as plant availability, season length, climate, topography, and soil quality will strongly affect the flavor and color of honey. Ciboreale is harvested in the Tuscany region of Italy. Nestled on the western central coast, Tuscany has a long history of beekeeping and honey production dating back centuries. The naturally rich Tuscan environment combined with the well developed traditions gives Ciboreale its rare and distinct characteristics. We believe happy bees make better honey. We utilize sustainable and minimally invasive harvesting procedures and rely on purely organic harvesting techniques.
