Overview

Champions Factory is an international non-governmental organisation bringing social change through innovations in education and sport. Champions Factory is established and with headquarters in Sofia (Bulgaria), as it has offices in London (United Kingdom) and Dublin (Ireland). Champions Factory works in the following fields: - Young people and youth workers - through innovative educational methodologies they develop and empower young people to be active citizens and to reach their potential to full capacity on a national and international level. We have involved more than 1600 youth from disadvantaged areas and NEETs in different courses and initiatives, as well as more than 480 youth in international exchanges, courses, seminars, meetings. - “Champions Academy” - private program for young people to develop their leadership and communicational skills, knowledge and competencies - International Network “Learning through sport” - Champions Factory develops, tests and spreads the “learning through sport” methodology, which builds-up leadership skills in youth and promotes the values of sport (fairness, team building, equality, discipline, inclusion, perseverance and respect). - Vocational education and training - Champions Factory runs the biggest vocational education and training consortium among sports schools in Bulgaria, as they have five sport schools members - Adult learners - Champions Factory provides teaching and training courses for staff of adult education organisations in areas as intercultural classrooms, tolerance and diversity, and sport management - Developing Mountain Biking in Bulgaria and Europe and managing Champions Factory Bike Park “Rilla Lakes.” Our most recent projects include: Champions Factory has been granted and implemented the following educational projects: - “Youth workers - the engine of the social change” - training held in Bulgaria during August 2016. Funded by the European Youth Foundation. - “Youth in Social Entrepreneurship” - international youth exchange held in Bulgaria in July 2017. Funded by the ERASMUS+ Program. - “Connecting through outdoor activities” - youth exchange held in Bulgaria in July 2016. Funded by the ERASMUS+ Program. - “Sport for sustainable development” - multi-activity mobility of youth workers with a seminar in Bulgaria in May 2017 and Training in Tenerife (Spain) in October 2017. Funded by the ERASMUS+ Program. - “Youth Leadership Academy” - multi-activity mobility of youth workers with training in Bansko (Bulgaria) in April 2017 and Training in Istanbul (Turkey) in September 2017. Funded by the ERASMUS+ Program. - “Together for Active Lifestyle” - multi-activity youth exchange held in Varna (Bulgaria) in the summer of 2017. Funded by the ERASMUS+ Program. - “Entrepreneurial Lab” - multi-activity youth exchange held in October 2017 in Bansko (Bulgaria) and in April 2018 in Budapest (Hungary). Funded by the ERASMUS+ Program. - “Let’s Build a Better Future” -youth exchange to be held in Bulgaria in 2018. Funded by the ERASMUS+ Program. - “Women empowerment through sport” - trans-continental capacity building in the field of youth project, to be implemented within 24 months in Bulgaria, Italy, Tanzania, Kenya, Nepal and Cambodia. Funded by the ERASMUS+ Program.
