The CREGÉS is a research infrastructure that facilitates exchanges between the worlds of research and practice. Its mandate is to stimulate, develop and disseminate research in social gerontology, and to support the development of innovative, leading-edge practices. It was the CREGÉS that enabled the CIUSSS West-Central Montreal to be designated a University-Affiliated Center in social gerontology. The CREGÉS is funded by the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS) du Québec and the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et Culture (FRQSC).
