Overview

The Canadian Centre for African Affairs and Policy Research is a non-partisan organization that conducts policy analysis and research. Established in 2022 and headquartered in Toronto, the centre offers research-based proposals to both public and private organizations in Canada. Our primary objective is to identify shared goals, values, and opportunities between Canada and emerging initiatives in Africa. We bridge the gap between scholarship and policy action by sponsoring high-level public and private meetings among multiple stakeholders. Through our work, we explore policy options to improve stronger, long-term relations between Canada and Africa. Our signature platform, The Canada-Africa Investment Symposium, is a highly anticipated annual gathering for senior government officials, non-governmental organizations, and executives of leading Canadian and African companies. This symposium aims to discuss new pathways for strengthening economic partnerships between Canadian and African markets.
