Aylward Street' focus has two dimensions with a common thread: Immediate Business Stabilisation:- The first dimension is aimed at helping companies in the very short term who find that they are experiencing a serious financial entanglement or crisis which requires experienced specialists (who are not liquidators) to work with stakeholders to resolve and stabilise the present crunch. Commercially Experienced Diagnosis:- During the hands-on stabilisation process, conduct a contemporaneous penetrating examination of what the exact causes of the financial difficulties are, look at all realistic alternatives available and then , if required, help the stakeholders execute all relevant components of the recovery strategy. The Common Thread:- The common thread between these two areas of focus is the need to quickly ascertain exactly whether and how shareholder and enterprise value may be maximised and indeed if the business is viable in the long term under the present business structure.
