Dedicated to environmental preservation and sustainability, Aureus products are 100 % sun-grown. Aureus offers conventional and USDA Organic certified Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (“API”). Aureus API are sourced from Avicanna’s cultivation projects (Sativa Nativa S.A.S. and Santa Marta Golden Hemp S.A.S.) in Bonda, Santa Marta, Colombia, utilizing optimal cultivation conditions provided by the micro-climate of the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Here, selective breeding and best-in-class cultivation techniques are used to produce sun-grown plants in an efficient, affordable, and sustainable manner. Avicanna’s cultivation projects operate in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure Aureus API meet the highest global standards including EU and US Pharmacopeia. Additionally, they are on track to obtain a Control Union Medical Cannabis Standard (CUMCS) certification for our greenhouse operations in Latin America which certifies Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP).
