Auctors was born three decades back as an architectural practice of the husband-wife duo of Samir Shukla and Sheetal Khandwala, both from School of Architecture, Ahmedabad. Ar. Soham Divatia from MSU has also joined the journey of Auctors in the midway and is part of the core team of Auctors. Over the thirty years span, Auctors evolved and moved across various design domains ranging from specialisation in hotel design in its early years to now a practice focused on large and typically public institutional projects. The practice has also expanded horizontally in providing broad-spectrum services as Project Management Consultants (PMC) where integrated solutions are offered to the clients that include architecture, engineering and construction as well as project management. Auctors is now again reinventing itself by developing competence for sustainable architecture via integration of decarbonisation initiatives in building design. Auctors hopes to expand its horizons into holistic service providing in infrastructure design and execution space with actual sustainability achieved via architecture and engineering technologies embedded into the design and PMC scope.
