Association Football Development Programme (AFDP) Global is an international social enterprise that aims to transform communities through football. From funding for specific initiatives and other material support, to the provision of expert management advice and guidance to help local partners build capacity and ensure the sustainability of projects, AFDP Global aims to make a difference in communities across the globe. The driving force behind AFDP Global is His Royal Highness Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein of Jordan, a significant figure in international football who is the founder and president of the West Asian Football Federation and president of the Jordan Football Association. In its original iteration, AFDP was established as an organisation focused on Asia and the Middle East. Its expanded global remit represents an ambitious step-change in Prince Ali’s work delivering social impact through football and a commitment to achieving impact on a global scale.
