Overview

The Asian Dynamics Initiative (ADI) promotes interdisciplinary scholarship in Asian languages, cultures, societies, and politics at the University of Copenhagen. Founded in 2008 as a cross-faculty Humanities-Social Sciences program, ADI has created an exemplary environment for both specialized and interdisciplinary research collaborations. This collaborative space has been vital in fostering new research ideas as well as mentoring early career scholars. Through frontier research and teaching, it contributes to vital policy and public debates that address complex regional and global affairs relating to Asia. Connecting research and insights from the University of Copenhagen with stakeholders in society that are dealing with an increasingly important Asia-Pacific.
