Established in early 2010, British Fashion House A. Sauvage has acquired a reputation for its understated luxury and no-nonsense approach to contemporary tailoring. Applying the principles of Adrien Sauvage’s founding philosophy, ‘Dress Easy’ (D.E.), House A. Sauvage focuses on the changing needs of its clients to create mens and womenswear with an emphasis on a perfect cut and casual elegance. Tailoring has been in our lineage for over 150 years since Josiah Alfred Savage became a prominent cloth merchant in Lagos. In 2012, Sauvage introduced a sophisticated, house signature silk woven cloth inspired by traditional Ghanaian Kente. In 2015, Sauvage expanded the A. Sauvage brand by opening a studio in Los Angeles, CA. The house does not follow a fashion schedule, but focuses instead on the evolving needs of its customers, the individuals themselves. In 2019 A. Sauvage introduced the Costumier marque, showcasing the wide ranging talent of its creative director and new more individualised offerings to its prestigious clientele. The Costumier marque creates an opportunity for patrons to acquire custom made garments and accessories designed by A. Sauvage. The House continues to challenge and shape the world of tailoring and fashion, combining sartorial skill with modern designs and a regal evolution in style.
