Altoona-Logan Township Mobile Medical Emergency Department Authority. Emergency Medical Service Authority created by the City of Altoona and the Township of Logan in 1980. AMED currently provides service to 18 municipalities in Blair, Huntingdon, Centre, and Clearfield Counties.
